Job Position: Event Set up and Removal

Location: Indianapolis, IN 46225

Pay Rate: $20.00/hr.

Shift: 1st

Description: Job Duties/Responsibilities
– Assemble, arrange, and set up event equipment, furniture, and decorations according to event specifications.
– Dismantle and pack up event materials, ensuring all items are accounted for and stored properly.
– Load and unload event equipment and supplies from transportation vehicles.
– Inspect equipment and materials for damage or wear before and after events, reporting any issues.
– Collaborate with event organizers and team members to ensure timely and accurate setup and takedown.
– Maintain a clean and organized work environment during and after events.
– Follow safety protocols and guidelines while handling heavy or fragile equipment.

Qualifications & Requirements
– Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, often up to 50 lbs.
– Strong physical stamina and endurance to work on feet for extended periods.
– Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
– Good communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with team members and event organizers.
– Basic understanding of tools and equipment commonly used in event setups, such as dollies, hand trucks, and basic hand tools.
– Punctuality and reliability in attending scheduled shifts.
– Attention to detail to ensure proper arrangement and organization of event setups and takedowns.
