Your day-to-day tasks will be:
The Manufacturing Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport raw materials, work-in-progress items, and finished goods within a manufacturing facility. This role plays a critical part in supporting production efficiency, inventory accuracy, and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities
Operate forklifts to move materials throughout the facility (loading, unloading, staging, and transferring goods)
Supply production lines with raw materials and remove finished products
Load and unload trucks in a safe and timely manner
Verify material quantities and ensure accurate inventory tracking
Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies
Maintain clean and organized storage areas and production floors
Conduct daily forklift safety inspections and report maintenance issues
Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols
Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO as required)
Accurately complete required documentation and system transactions

This Job Requires:
Frequent lifting, bending, and reaching
Prolonged periods of sitting or standing while operating equipment
Ability to work in confined spaces and navigate tight aisles
Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Familiarity with ERP or warehouse management systems (WMS)
Experience with different forklift types (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, etc.)
