Your Day-to-Day Tasks will be:

Review and apply inventory management techniques to reconcile inventory discrepancies.

Assist in inventory level planning/projection processes.

Monitor inventory transactions for receipt, storage, shipping, and inventory integrity.

Develop, and implement inventory management improvements.

Maintain records regarding inventory control, receipt, and shipment of materials.

Pull data from AS400 and manipulate using Microsoft Excel utilizing pivot tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, etc.

Analyze logistics data, using methods such as data mining, data modeling, and cost benefit analysis.

Maintain logistics records in accordance with corporate policies.

Maintain metrics, such as on-time delivery rates, order fulfillment rates, and inventory turns.

Manage systems to ensure that pricing structures adequately reflect logistics costing.

Data awareness critical: review and consolidate data, spot trends, and develop accurate forecasts.

This Job Requires:

2-4 years’ experience in the field of inventory control in a distribution/warehouse preferred

Familiar with RFI and RFP supplier/vendor process

Ability to perform mathematical analysis on large sets of data accurately and efficiently

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Office, Word, Excel, Access, Windows)

Knowledge of database reporting software inventory control software

Occasional travel as needed (would be minimal)

Punctual and ready to work.
