Your Day-to-Day Tasks as a Skilled Punch Press Machine Operator will be:

Independently set up, adjust, and operate punch press machines

Fabricate copper parts for according to design prints and job specifications

Accurately read and interpret design prints

Perform sheet metal forming, punching, cutting, and shaping with minimal supervision

Form copper using appropriate tooling and techniques

Perform soldering operations to assemble or finish fabricated copper components

Inspect finished parts for quality

This Skilled Punch Press Machine Operator Job Requires:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a punch press operator or in a comparable sheet metal fabrication role

Demonstrated experience working with sheet metal and copper forming

Soldering experience with copper materials

Proficiency reading and interpreting design prints

Ability to set up and operate punch press machinery independently

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

Solid measuring, math, and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of shop safety standards and best practices

Ability to perform basic tasks like reading and counting

Can lift up to 50 pounds

Comfortable standing or moving for the full shift

Teamwork and cooperative mindset

Punctual and ready to work
